Our Winter Workout registration is open. Our Winter Workout program last year had 110 participants and was absolutely the best Winter program around. Players who participated in our workouts came into the Spring season stronger than ever and true standouts on the field.
There will be 13 sessions starting December 1 and ending on February 23, all Sundays, 2 hours and 15 minutes each. Players will go through three 45-minute stations. Station 1 focuses on lower half strength, speed, agility, explosive movement. Station 2 focuses on upper half strength, arm strength, arm care, core strength, and velocity training. The third station focuses on fielding fundamentals and footwork for fielding. The sessions are highly active and will push your player to the next level.
There is an early bird discount for families who register before November 1. The cost is $585 before Nov. 1 and goes up to $650 after that. At $650 that comes to $50 per session. There will be multiple coaches at stations and small groups of 8-13 players in each group. Lots of attention, lots of work.
Development is a process, not something that happens over night. At USA Prime Peninsula we focus on all of the small parts of baseball and softball that help players be successful at the highest levels and for their future in the game. Coaching curriculum is geared towards the development of long-term success in competitive players. Our future-focused coaching prioritizes fundamentals-first development and mental-game instruction to enable next-level competitive play with the "whole player" in mind. Development comes with success and with failure. We strive to win and winning is important, but without development wins will be far and few.
Weekly practices will consist of arm strengthening program, strength and conditioning, isolated defensive fundamental development programs for all defensive positions, pitcher development program, hitting development, base-running technique development, mental game chalk-talks and scrimmage time. A normal practice week will consist of two field practices and one indoor practice which includes one hour of hitting and one hour of strength and conditioning.
We play at local tournament venues with National Championship Sports, NCTB, TPR and USSSA. All tournaments are played under major league rules with leads except for 8u divisions. All divisions are kid pitch.
At USA Prime Peninsula we strive to maintain affordability while also providing the highest level of baseball education to our players. Running a travel baseball program is expensive. All of our coaches are paid coaches, we pay for all field space and facility space. Team equipment, tournaments, insurance and other costs are included in a season tuition. USA Prime Peninsula will not turn a player away for lack of funds. We will arrange for sponsorship for players who require financial assistance. For additional information on tuition please email drew@usa-prime-peninsula.com.
